人は自分の足で立ち自分の足で歩く。その裸足の足を苧麻（麻の一種）の繊維で2000年12月から編み始め、15年後、ここ朴壽根美術館では89名の足形を展示している。この中には日本側の作家下沢敏也さん、韓国側の作家尹東天さん、今回の搬入中に編んだ李惠暎さんの足形もある。これらの作品は、編む足のモデルになってくれる人がいて初めて成立する。足形を編み、彼らと対話をしながら出来上がっていく。今回の展示では、李惠暎さんの作品ポソンの隣に私の作品があり、作品同士が対話をしているようにも感じる。
